Jason's family is hosting a celebration of life on Sunday, Dec 3rd, from 1-5pm PST at their home at 1508 West 12th St, Port Angeles, WA, 98363

For those in the DC/VA/MD area, we'll be raising a cup of tea, or no more than 1 beer (aka Jason's standard), at the same time at The Admiral in Dupont Circle from 4-6:30 EST on Sunday 12/3. If you wish, bring a story to share about Jason, or about something he loved (or hated).

We deeply appreciate the kind words and messages of support from the Frakture community in the wake of Jason's passing.

There will be an open house memorial at the Zanon home on Sunday from 1-5PST: 1508 W 12th St, Port Angeles, WA 98363

There will be an online portion of the open house, we will update with link and details when they become available.

Jason's wife Ksenia has requested that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Center for Civilians in Conflict, an organization supporting humanitarian efforts in Gaza.

CIVIC envisions a world in which no civilian is harmed in conflict. We support communities affected by conflict in their quest for protection and strengthen the resolve and capacity of armed actors to prevent and respond to civilian harm.

Dear Frakture community,

With deep sadness and broken hearts, we are posting to inform you of the death of our colleague and dear friend Jason Zanon. He passed suddenly and unexpectedly on Thanksgiving, November 23rd 2023.

Jason has been with Frakture since the company began eight years ago, and had worked closely with Chris Lundberg for many years prior at Salsa/Democracy In Action. We will remember him most for his understated brilliance, his extraordinary diligence, his endless patience, and his relentless humor and positivity. We already miss Jason more than any words can convey.

We’ll keep this post updated with any information from his family.

Please bear with us as we adjust operations in the wake of this tragedy.
