Aurora Sol just completed its first public demo at Cherry Blossom Arcade hosted by IGDA DC in Washington DC, and one moment summed up the whole day.

A stranger played the game, turned to us, and said: "Take my money."

10–15 people played. Players loved the aesthetic, noticed the dynamic music without being told about it, and one person compared it to "Tetris inside out", before his friend immediately defended it as its own game entirely.

We also learned hard lessons about controller testing and speaker reliability.

Aurora Sol makes its first public appearance at Cherry Blossom Arcade — hosted by IGDA DC at MLK Library, 901 G Street NW, Washington DC. Doors open at 1 PM.

We ended up on JetBrains' official YouTube channel at GDC 2026 — and honestly we're still a little surprised.
The video is about how our team uses JetBrains tools in our development workflow — but what it really shows is the kind of studio we're building. Technical, intentional, and serious about the craft.
