BROOKMAN a NGLCC Certified Business Enterprise Supplier to the Department of Labor

BROOKMAN is excited that the The National Gay & Le***an Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the U.S. Department of Labor that will empower LGBT businesses to access contract opportunities from the Department and the $2.2 billion it spends annually on products and services. “Our contracts with the Department of Labor at this time total more than $14MM from 2011 to 2018,” said CEO Joe Brookman of BROOKMAN LLC, “as the largest NGLCC BE supplier to the Department of Labor (DoL) we hope to continue to grow our supplier relationship with the DoL and other Federal Agencies recognizing GLBT certified suppliers as part of their OSDBU objectives.”
BROOKMAN currently supplies IP Communications, Contact Center and Network Management and Analysis products and other services to the Department of Labor. The growing deployment consists of 115 sites around the United States and more than 4,000 users in a “Private Cloud” environment. “Our VoIP Interactive Voice Response, PBX and Contact Center solution with the department of Labor is built on the Interactive Intelligence Customer Interaction Center (CIC),” said Brookman, “and we utilize AppNeta’s Voice and Data Network Management and Analysis Platform to ensure voice quality Service Levels across the deployment.”
The agreement with the Department of Labor follows NGLCC's successful efforts to develop partnerships with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the U.S. Department of Commerce. These partnerships reflect the growing awareness within federal agencies that LGBT business owners deliver critical solutions to the federal government. In 2013, NGLCC hosted its Second Annual Federal Policy & Procurement Forum, which drew over fifteen federal agencies eager to meet with certified LGBT business enterprises (LGBTBEs), and this year's Forum is expected to be larger than ever.
