Why are we named LaghuGuru? What does LaghuGuru mean?
We've been getting this question a lot. So, here it goes.
Laghu means 0(zero) in sanskrit and Guru means 1(one). Not a lot of people know this, but the earliest mention of the binary number system (the reason internet, computers, calculators work) is in Pingala's work.
Pingala was an ancient Indian mathematician and poet who lived in the 3rd/2nd century A.D. In his work, he gave Laghu to 0 and Guru to 1.
To acknowledge his contribution to the modern world, the internet and computers, we've named ourselves LaghuGuru, meaning 01.
So, that's the story behind the name.
