We were grateful to serve as the Leadership Sponsor for the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Annual Retreat!

We were proud to have Caroline Adams, our VP of Marketing, represent ITVantix at the Women United luncheon at Mercer University yesterday!

Caroline was honored to be among more than 200 women from across Central Georgia—and alongside so many incredible businesses, organizations, and professionals representing Houston County, including Robins Regional Chamber, Robins Financial Credit Union, SunMark Community Bank, The Summit Group Commercial Real Estate Brokerage, United Way of Central Georgia, Rigby’s Entertainment Complex, City of Warner Robins Government, Parrish Construction Group, and many others.

It was an inspiring afternoon celebrating women in leadership, service, and community impact, while highlighting the important work being done to strengthen families and create new opportunities for ALICE households across our region.

We’re grateful to be part of a community filled with leaders who continue to show up, serve, and invest in a stronger Central Georgia. 🩵

PROFILE: Caroline Adams is one of our rockstar Loaned Executives from our friends at ITVantix! Through the Loaned Executive program, partner companies loan one of their team members to United Way for a period of time to work alongside our staff, connect with local businesses, and help strengthen our work.

We’re grateful to Caroline for bringing her time, energy, and talents to our team, and to ITVantix for investing in both her leadership and our community! Here's how she answered our questions.

1) Where do you work and what’s your favorite thing about that company?

"I work at ITVantix, a managed technology services provider. I love that the work we do takes the stress of managing technology off businesses and organizations so they can focus on what they do best—growing, serving others, and strengthening our communities. But what I appreciate most is working for a company that recognizes we have a responsibility to make a positive impact beyond the services we provide. ITVantix genuinely cares about the communities we serve and encourages us to get involved, give back, and use our time and resources to help make them better."

2) What excites you the most about jumping in as a Loaned Executive with United Way of Central Georgia?

"So many people don’t realize just how much work is happening behind the scenes to make our area stronger. I’m excited to represent ITVantix as a Loaned Executive, help support our shared goal of growing and strengthening our community, and raise awareness of the incredible work United Way and its programs are doing every day across Central Georgia."

3) How has understanding the ALICE framework shaped your view of needs in our community?

"Understanding the ALICE framework helped me realize that the need in our community extends far beyond those living below the poverty line. It includes hardworking families—our neighbors, coworkers, friends, and sometimes ourselves—who may be just one unexpected expense or life event away from not being able to make ends meet. More than 30% of Central Georgia households fall into that category.

I know personally how quickly life can change, and I know how much it matters to have a community ready to help when it does. Through United Way of Central Georgia, we have an opportunity to help make sure that someone’s one bad day doesn’t determine their tomorrow."
