Quick Stop Computers+ is currently seeking a part-time technician with a minimum of three years’ experience diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and configuring laptop and desktop computers. Smartphone and tablet experience is a plus.

Typical duties include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing hardware, including disassembling and reassembling laptop computers.
- Troubleshooting and correcting operating system failures and malware-infected computers.
- Installing and configuring application and operating system software and upgrades.
- Removing old equipment and performing data migration to new machines.
- Installing, configuring and maintaining desktop and laptop PCs and peripherals such as printers.
- Diagnosing network connectivity issues
- Experience on networks that allows an individual to configure home and business networks is a plus.

Applicants must have good communication skills and customer service experience. Quick Stop Computers+ technicians interact with current and potential customers daily. After a training period, applicants should be able to evaluate and implement all levels of computer repairs and service with minimal supervision. This position has full-time potential.

This position will involve working in Houston County, on a workbench, but may occasionally include on-site home or corporate computer support calls.
