A quick guide to interpret the model names based on their features:
• Last number: Size of the low-frequency transducer
• C: Coaxial transducer
• T: Transformer coupled
• H: Horn loaded driver
• L: Line array module
• S: Subwoofer
Shadow Series Highlights:
• Shadow 105 T: A versatile, near-field speaker with a 5-inch woofer and 1-inch dome tweeter. It features an integrated ball-socket mount and is ideal for cruise ships, yachts, and restaurants.
• Shadow 108 CT: The first model to use a rotationally molded polypropylene enclosure, which is 100% waterproof. It features a coaxial 8-inch woofer, a specialized three-stage grille, and is designed with custom-made B&C drivers.
• Shadow 112 CT & 112 HC: These are larger units. The 112 CT is a standard large coaxial unit, while the
112 HC is a horn-loaded version designed for long-throw applications, such as across football stadiums.
• Shadow 114 S: The dedicated subwoofer for the series, featuring a 14-inch transducer.
• Shadow 142 L: A true IP66-rated outdoor line array module, designed for permanent installations where multiple units are stacked for long-distance sound propagation.
