What part of running your bookkeeping business feels harder than the bookkeeping itself?
For some bookkeepers, it’s getting clients.
They’re confident doing the work, but networking, marketing, or sales conversations feel much less natural.
For others, it’s almost the opposite.
They enjoy meeting people and bringing in new business, but onboarding, managing capacity, creating processes, and keeping delivery consistent take more effort.
And then there are all the other jobs that come with owning a business: pricing, technology, administration, hiring, strategy…
Being good at bookkeeping and being good at every part of running a bookkeeping business are not the same thing.
That doesn’t mean you have to become equally good at all of them.
But it helps to know where your strengths are—and where you’re regularly getting stuck.
