Sorry about the long Silence, but I have good news. I have been waiting to announce that barring some unforeseen circumstance I should be able to start upgrading/selling systems sometime around late July/August.

I can finally reveal that the new mod will be using a new release of the F18a board called F18aMK2 which will no longer have VGA output but will have a direct High definition output. This means that I will be adjusting the pricing on the system and I hope to have the cost of the system and upgrade closer to the VGA pricing. As the updated costs for the board have not been released yet, I won't have a firm price yet.

Once again, I apologize for the long wait, but I think you will be happy with the new pricing and functionality. I will open up pre-orders once the order for the new boards is ready.

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, but I have been hard at work on a new project that will hopefully be released at some point this year.

The HDMI and VGA upgrade boards have been out of stock for a while, so I haven't been able to do any upgrades recently. I think we are getting close to being able to order a new set of boards, but I need to gauge interest in how many people are looking for upgrades or pre-modded systems.

I will be starting a waitlist on a first come first served basis for HDMI/VGA systems or upgrades. If you would like to be added to the waitlist please email me at

I will have more information on my new project a little later as it gets closer to release.
