A lot of PS5s come into our shop after they’ve already started overheating or shutting down. The problem is, you don’t always get much warning before that happens.
That’s why we’re offering a Complete PS5 Tune-Up. This isn’t just blowing the dust out and putting it back together. We take the console apart and actually service the cooling system.
We deep clean the inside of the console, fan, heatsink and power supply. We remove the old liquid metal, clean and polish the APU and heatsink contact surfaces, apply fresh liquid metal, inspect and replace thermal pads when needed, check the cooling system and put everything back together for testing.
Even if your PS5 seems to be running fine right now, it may still have years of dust and buildup inside. Waiting until it starts shutting down can mean waiting until the cooling problem has become much worse.
