Excited to reveal the brand-new logo for Jacksonville Christian Academy!

JCA approached me with a desire to refresh their visual identity—something that would better reflect the heart of their mission and values. The result is a modern, meaningful logo that communicates strength, purpose, and faith.

Conqueror Helmet = Achieve

Shield = Arm (with truth)

Cross/Bible = Advance the Gospel

New website that I designed. Check it out!

As a certified R-Stamp facility with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors we are qualified to perform weld repairs. We have a certified welder on staff and can provide ASME/DOT approved welding repairs to tankers as well as all your non-ASME welding repairs.

Introducing Timbers Drive Church

I had a good time working on this logo because it was for my sister-in-law church! They wanted a logo that made sense with the name "Timber." So naturally, a tree icon was perfect for this. I chose the color green because it represents growth!

Great Bridge FWB Church Logo

Great Bridge Church wanted to update their logo to better represent their church. So I combined the letter "G" with a bridge icon and a cross to make their logo mark. This new logo better matches the importance of Great Bridges name and the significance of their faith!

Flagship Church Branding Redesign

This logo has a special place in my heart. Me and my family started about 10 years ago in Erie, Pa, and our mission is to: Make disciples or make disciples. God has done some amazing things through Flagship and continues to! The logo looks so good especially now that they are in their new building 😉

The logo before my redesign was very outdated. I knew it needed a more modern look, so I decided to make a logo that was simple yet captured a cross and flags of a ship hence the name “Flagship Church.”

Bayside Aquarium Logo Design 🐟🌊

For this logo design I wanted to make a icon that represented life in the ocean. Not life that actually swims around but the life that lives on the ocean floor. The first thing I thought of was coral reefs. That is how I came up with this design. I hope you enjoy!

I came across this Skillshare session, and the goal was to make a family crest. The crest can include anything unique to your family.

My last name is Grimes, and The surname of Grimes originates from the Norse-Viking pre 7th Century personal name of "Grimr," which is both an Old Danish and Old Swedish name as well, appearing in both of these ancient languages as "Grim." In England, this surname of Grimes was popular due to the influence of Scandinavian settlements in the particular areas of the northwestern and eastern counties.

I chose to include Viking horns on the top of my crest since my name originated from the Norse-Viking Era. I chose the cross on the top left of the shield because my grandpa has been a deacon of his church for many years, and also, my father is a missionary/pastor, so God has been a massive part of my life and family. The 814 next to the cross represents the area code of Pennsylvania where my father and mother currently live and where I lived for the last 8 years. On the bottom left, the "E & J" stands for Elmer and Jean, who are my grandparents on my father's side. And I decided to put the state of NC as the last icon because that is where my siblings, parents, and I were born. Erie, Pa, is on the bottom because that is where my family currently is living.

I enjoyed learning more about where my family name originated! I loved how this crest turned out! If you would like a family crest of your own, let me know, and I can design one.
