OS 27 is out. As we always recommend hold off on upgrading for a couple months or best till the Spring.

With every new Operating System comes new bugs and glitches that can be catastrophic. It’s best to wait for all the major issues to be resolved and that can take a month or two for Apple.

But Apple isn’t the only one that would need to fix issues - 3rd party apps will also need to address compatibility issues and that can take even longer. That’s why we make the recommendation to upgrade your Operating System in the Spring time.

We’ve all had the Apple experience before and 1 out of 10 people enjoy it.

It’s pretty much the same experience every time. You make an appointment for let’s say 1:00 PM.

You show up 10 minutes early for your appointment, get told to stand off to the side and someone will be with you shortly. 30 minutes later someone finally comes around brings you to a table in the middle of the room around 10 other people all talking at once.

You tell the employee what’s going on but it doesn’t seem like they really hear you.

You’re asked about backup but don’t quite understand. You’re then told you can take your computer home and do a backup and make another appointment to get your laptop repaired or you can risk the data loss and get the repair started now.

You’re already stressed and overwhelmed so you say whatever let’s just get it fixed everything should be in iCloud anyway right?!

They tell you to leave your Mac with them and they should have it back in 5-10 days.

You finally get your computer back and it’s erased. What you thought was in iCloud wasn’t in iCloud. Now you lost valuable data and time. What was a stressful experience just because 100x worse.

This shouldn’t be the standard. You deserve a better and faster experience. You deserve to know if and when your data will be erased and how it could affect you based on how you actually use and save your data to your computer.
