Ci is proud to partner with UF Health & ShandsCair Critical Care Transport Program on updating their communications and dispatch operations.
The ShandsCair team recently transitioned to a new state-of-the-art dispatch facility designed to support faster, more reliable coordination for both air and ground medical transport operations.
Our team completed:
🔹 Telex C-Soft upgrade to Version 8.5
🔹 Full network infrastructure upgrades
🔹 Configuration and deployment of 8 dispatcher positions
🔹 Integration across 21 radio resources throughout the Southeast
🔹 FirstNet integration for 12 ground transport talk groups
This advanced communications environment supports interoperability between Kenwood NEXEDGE & analog systems, Harris, Motorola, and specialty aviation communications platforms used throughout the helicopter industry.

We’re delighted to announce a new collaboration between our Communications Center and the UF Health Transfer Center. This partnership will strengthen communication among hospitals, local and state communications centers, and the UF Health ShandsCair team—helping ensure timely transport to advanced care.
