Outreach materials are part of a statewide campaign seeking to reach youth in middle schools and high schools with information about getting help with a crisis. The State Health Dept SAMHSA GLS Youth Su***de Prevention program is in its third year. The program enables youth to text the Crisis Call Center's Textline and communicate safely and privately with crisis workers who specialize in deescalating crisis. Since program launch, help seeking among Nevada youth has increased significantly.
