Terabite will be a video game lounge that offers an atmosphere seeked for by teens and young adults today
. Gaming stations from computers, to a variety of gaming consoles would be available for use or spectating to enjoy watching gameplay live. Food truck style food will be served to appeal to the generation of “foodies” that is becoming popular in today’s day and age of Instagram and other social media. Teriyaki cheese steak sandwich, pulled pork adobo kimchi fries, and fried macaroni and cheese bites are a few examples of the style of food that will be on Terabite’s menu. The Terabite atmosphere will encompass customers with good food and good company, that once could only be imagined of the ultimate hangout spot. Terabite is to bring that hangout spot into reality of where video game trends, strategies, competition, and culture can be enjoyed with others in a social environment. Although, everyone can come and enjoy the menu. Menu items for food are expected to range from $3 to $7, and meals being between $8 - $10. Terabite will be a limited-service establishment where the registers can take orders or grant a guest access to all game stations. The venue will be decorated with video game inspired art, minimalistic video game inspired art on the walls, and overall a space to hang out. Background music will be playing consisting of genres of all kind from top hits to indie songs. The music will blend in the noise of laughter, conversation, and excitement from the people, explosions, gun fire, and “kapows” from the games. The decor for Terabite will have posters and pictures of both video game culture and “geek” culture(comic books, movie, and shows).
