In our latest network rack cleanup, the client was concerned with the inability to properly manage the existing cabling and being an eye sore. He was also concerned with the lack of space in the current rack and the inability to have adequate network expansion.

Through the years of countless network rack cleanups RHT Technologies has fined tuned the process to minimize the down time which is crucial to productivity and to verify that all connections are linked up upon completion.

It was a great conversation bringing students into the world of Telecommunications and ICT

From pulling wire to running the company with Ron! 🚀🧵

We were thrilled to welcome Ron from RHT Technologies back for this month's Peer to Career session! He always brings a real, on-the-ground perspective to our students. He kicked things off with his own origin story, sharing how pulling wire for a friend sparked a career that led to founding his own thriving installation business.

During his presentation, we spent a lot of time talking shop about cable management. The students really dug into the details of those infamous, overgrown backroom cabling messes that technicians inevitably run into. They asked tons of questions about how to tackle messy telecom rooms and how long it actually takes to get a rack looking clean again.

From untangling cables to untangling the job market, the conversation naturally shifted to what employers actually want. It's hard starting out in this industry, and Ron patiently broke down everything the students wanted to know. He explained that certifications are a great foundation, but getting hired goes beyond the textbook. The real key to success is mastering soft skills like showing up on time, bringing a great attitude, and staying teachable.

Huge thanks to Ron for always bringing such relatable field experience to our students and helping them prepare for their futures!
