Before the fall semester begins, take a few simple steps to make sure your devices are ready for classes, research and campus life.

✅ Install the latest operating system updates.

✅ Back up important files to a secure location.

✅ Remove software you no longer use.

✅ Restart your computer after completing updates.

Keeping your technology up to date improves performance, helps protect your personal information and ensures compatibility with university applications and services.

Your .edu email is basically your campus passport. It’s how professors reach you, how you hear about events, and where job opportunities can be found.

Here’s what to do:

1️⃣ Go to outlook.office365.com 📧

2️⃣ Sign in with your NetID and password 🔐

3️⃣ Set up multifactor authentication with Duo Security 🔄

4️⃣ Add the Outlook app to your phone so you don’t miss a thing 📱

⚠️Do this as quickly as possible, you’ll need it before the first day!
