One site misbehaving? You don't need to clear everything.

Most browsers let you clear cache and cookies for a single site. You fix the problem and stay logged in everywhere else.

Save this for the next time a page won't load right.

Quick quiz: a site is showing missing images and an old layout. What do you clear first?

A) Cookies
B) Browsing history
C) Cache for that site
D) Everything

Drop your answer below. I'll reveal it in the comments, and explain why the other three would cost you more than they fix.

Cache, cookies, and history are three different things. Clearing the wrong one costs you logins and fixes nothing.

Swipe for the simple rule:
Cache = speed
Cookies = identity
History = reference

Broken page? Clear that site's cache. Login loop? Clear that site's cookies. Public computer? Clear all three.

Save this for the next time a website acts up. Full guide at the link in bio.

Ever cleared your whole browser history to fix one website, then spent 20 minutes logging back into everything?

Here's the simple version:
Cache = saved site files (speed)
Cookies = keeps you logged in (identity)
History = list of pages you visited (reference only)

Site looks broken? Clear the cache for that site.
Stuck logging in? Clear the cookies for that site.
Using a public computer? Clear all three.

Quick tip: turn your VPN on before you join public Wi-Fi, not after.

If you connect first and switch the VPN on second, there's a small window where your traffic is exposed on an unsecured network. It only takes a few seconds for that gap to matter.

Make it a habit: VPN on, then connect.

More setup tips (kill switches, choosing a provider, testing your connection) in the full guide, link in bio.

True or false: a VPN makes you completely anonymous online.

False, and it's the most common misunderstanding we see. A VPN hides your IP address and encrypts your traffic, but it doesn't erase cookies, account logins, or browser fingerprinting. Websites and apps can still recognize you through those.

Guess before you scroll the comments, then check the full guide (link in bio) for what a VPN can and can't do.

VPN decoded without the sales pitch.

We keep seeing the same two extremes: people who think a VPN makes them invisible online, and people who think it's not worth bothering with. Neither is quite right.

Swipe through for what a VPN actually does, the myths worth dropping, and where it genuinely earns a place in your privacy routine.

Full beginner's guide is linked in bio.

Ever used the Wi-Fi at a coffee shop, airport, or hotel without thinking twice? Most of us have, and most of that Wi-Fi is unsecured, meaning anyone else on the same network could potentially see what you're doing.

That's the real, practical reason people use a VPN. Not to "go anonymous" (it can't do that), but to encrypt your connection so a stranger on the same network can't casually snoop on your banking session or your messages.

We just published a beginner's guide covering what a VPN really does, the myths worth ignoring, and how to pick one that isn't secretly selling your data (a lot of free ones do this).
