It has been quite a while since we posted. We are still available on a case-by-case basis for technical assistance in any capacity, but once again, tech takes a back seat to the real heroes and lifesavers of our fire and rescue teams helping in LA. Of course, Los Angeles is home to technology data centers, and part of our infrastructure is housed in one. However, when you think about the structure, and machinery, you realize it can be rebuilt, if lost, but lives are far more precious. We use technology to communicate, keep in touch, and ensure we are connected to our loved ones even when we cannot see them face to face; but behind the tech that keeps humming along are real people, and I hope and pray that every person impacted is able to come away with their lives, even at the cost of their personal property.

Hello Friends and Followers! 👋🏻 On September 18, 2023, my personal Facebook account was compromised. I have been working to recover the details; and except for some remaining minor issues and cleanup, the profile should now be active and visible. I will be posting regular content there by the end of October 2023.

As for this page, which was under mine and one other person's control, it looks to be normal again. Except for one rogue post, now deleted, we did not lose the page, and it is now back under my complete control. To ensure secure access for a while, I will not be assigning any managers or other users to post to this page, and will be reviewing my access and contents of the other pages I manage to confirm that everything is well. Also advertising and associated monetization has been suspended until January 2024.

I am updating my testimonial of Theratouchnj... the second definition above truly encapsulates my overall experience. In the interest of full disclosure, I am currently working with a good chiropractor for issues with my lower back, spine, and pelvis, and I trust my doctor implicitly. Born with cerebral palsy, I walk with what can be considered a myopathic gait. Physical exercise is extra important for my "fluidity" of motion, but specific stretches or other targeting exercises are often hard to perform. It is here where Rachel's massage techniques and prescribed regimen supplements my chiropractic treatment, and I daresay may even one day replace it! She has a PLAN for each of her clients - mine was customized to accommodate my existing limitations - and she is great with follow-up. You don't GET that with another massage therapist. The focus really IS on therapy, with relaxation and restoration a pleasant side effect. Her home-based studio is well-equipped, and it's easy to just let yourself go for an hour or so and walk out feeling invigorated, all the while knowing that your personalized treatment does not end when the session is over.

To my friends, followers, and customers, not necessarily in that order, I hope you enjoy a restful, blessed holiday season. My apologies for not posting too much content lately. Our primary focus during the last 6-8 months has been digital conversion of audio and video, so social media and website design has taken a back seat. But, after all, AV is in our name so that's what we do best! And we know that although you may have a phone, computer, or digital camera, there are still tons of analog memories out there. And we're not done yet! Over the past year, we have heard horror stories of many people losing their precious memories from their current digital devices. And, when it was believed that their data was successfully backed up to the cloud, they found that several items were either missing or corrupted. The solution is here, and it's one that combines the convenience of always-available local backup with the security of the cloud. Website Design Updates and Paying It Forward

Since 2002, Ruggiero AV Services has existed in a continually changing, volatile market; the recent dependence on more robust technology to facilitate a working outside of the traditional office setting has made us realize how valuable our services are - from PC repair to configuration of existing systems and home and office network environments. This work has continued to take precedence over and above the design and hosting of websites and social media profiles. Though we hope to maintain a relationship with existing clients who host websites with us into the foreseeable future, and even perhaps obtain new ones, we know that there would come a time when we would either partner with another technology proprietor OR outsource the work entirely. As of today, the latter has happened, and we are happy to promote the services of SFIDA DESIGNS to those people looking for a new or updated web presence or social media exposure.
