🔒 SELLING YOUR DEVICE TO FO-MART? HERE’S WHAT TO EXPECT.
At Fo-Mart, every device purchase is documented to create a clear, transparent record of the transaction and help protect the seller, our business, and the community.
✅ Government-issued ID is verified
✅ Seller must be 18 or older
✅ Device IMEI / serial information is documented
✅ Device and amount paid are recorded
✅ Seller confirms they are the lawful owner
✅ Ownership, blacklist, loss/theft, and fraud indicators may be checked
✅ Transaction records are maintained
✅ Relevant information may be provided to law enforcement when lawfully required or when necessary to investigate suspected stolen or fraudulent property
🚫 WE DO NOT BUY STOLEN OR FRAUDULENT PHONES.
Every seller signs an agreement confirming that the device belongs to them, that they have authority to sell it, and that they have not knowingly concealed important information involving the device, its ownership, IMEI, blacklist status, activation lock, or potential fraud.
Once payment is made, ownership of the device transfers to Fo-Mart and the transaction is documented.
Security recording may also be used for transaction verification, safety, crime prevention, and fraud prevention where permitted by law.
Marketing and social-media consent is separate and voluntary. A customer does not have to agree to promotional content in order to sell a device.
This process is designed to create accountability on both sides:
For the seller: a documented record of the device sold, the transaction, and the payment.
For Fo-Mart: a documented chain showing who sold the device, what device was purchased, what was paid, and the seller’s representation that they had lawful ownership and authority to sell it.
