The Technology Group

There’s nothing like watching a student’s face light up when their code FINALLY works!

That moment of excitement, confidence, and accomplishment? That’s why we do what we do!

At The Technology Group we believe learning technology should be more than sitting behind a screen.

Our programs are IN PERSON because human connection is invaluable!

Students learn alongside real technology professionals, collaborate with peers, ask questions, solve problems, and celebrate those little victories together.

At our Python Summer Coding Camp in Vienna, VA, students don’t just use technology, they learn to CREATE it!

Because sometimes, all it takes is one mentor, one experience, or one moment of encouragement to change a student’s future.

Parents….Is AI helping your child LEARN… or just giving them the answers?

AI is changing how our kids learn, complete homework, and explore technology. But are we teaching them how to use it safely and responsibly?

Here are 4 questions every parent should be asking:

Homework: Is AI helping my child think or doing the thinking for them?

Privacy: Does my child know what information should NEVER be shared with AI?

Critical Thinking: Does my child know that AI can be wrong?

Healthy Habits: Are we setting boundaries around AI use?

We’re sharing this FREE virtual parent session hosted by Think Agentic:

Saturday, October 31, 11 AM–12 PM ET

because at The Technology Group we believe technology education starts with awareness!

🚀 And speaking of technology education…

Our one week Summer 2027 Python Coding Camp is coming back to Vienna, VA!

We’re helping kids ages 7–15 go from simply using technology to CREATING with it!

This summer, we got to witness something special.

From July 6th - 10th, The Technology Group hosted our Python Summer Coding Camp for students in grades 6 - 12.

Throughout the week, students learned real programming concepts such as variables, input and output, conditional logic, and much more.

But the biggest win wasn’t just the code.

It was watching students ask questions, solve problems, debug their work, collaborate with one another, so they can start to see themselves as creators of technology, not just consumers.

A huge thank you to parents who trusted us, and to the students who showed up ready to learn, build, and grow.

This is exactly why we do this work.

And now, we’re excited to bring that same energy next summer to more students.

If you’re a parent, and you want to improve your child’s critical thinking and problem solving skills through coding, reach out to The Technology Group today.

Parent's what if one conversation with an industry expert could change your child's life!! Learn more about The Technology Group's founder.

What if one conversation could change the entire direction of your career?

Meet Joe Bangali, Founder of The Technology Group proud Fairfax County Public Schools alumnus of Holmes Middle School and Annandale High School!

Growing up, Joseph knew very little about technology. But he was curious and wished someone working in the tech industry would come to his school and show him what was possible.

That opportunity never came.

Instead, Joseph pursued an undergraduate degree in business, never imagining that a career in technology was within his reach.

Then, one day, a chance conversation at the gym changed everything. A trainer in the gym told him about cloud engineering and offered him an opportunity to work in an IT help desk position.

He took the chance.

Through years of learning, encouragement, mentorship, and perseverance, Joseph worked his way from an entry-level IT role to becoming a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer.

Today, he's doing something his younger self desperately needed.

He's going back to the very schools that helped shape him, this time as the industry expert he once wished would walk through the door.

His participation in Career Day is more than a full-circle moment. It's a reminder of WHY he founded The Technology Group.

Our mission is simple: Help students EXPLORE, PREPARE for, and LAUNCH careers in technology.

Through after-school coding programs and summer camps for students ages 7–16, we're introducing young people to coding, Python, AI, mock interviewing and the endless possibilities of a career in tech.

Because here's what Joseph's story teaches us:

You can't pursue a career you don't know exists.

And sometimes, all it takes is ONE person to open that door.
