Service Engineer – Production Laser Systems | Portland, OR (or Remote)
We’re looking for a hands-on Service Engineer to join our Production Laser Group at LPKF Laser & Electronics.
If you’re the type who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, enjoys working directly with customers, and doesn’t mind a bit of travel (okay, more than a bit — think 50%+), this could be your next adventure.
What you’ll be doing
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain precision laser systems across North America
Provide technical support both on-site and remotely
Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve tough issues
Deliver training and support that keep customers confident and productive
Represent LPKF in the field with professionalism, reliability, and pride
What we’re looking for
Experience in laser, optics, electronics, or precision equipment service
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Confident communicator — with customers, engineers, and teammates
Comfortable with 50%+ travel across the U.S., Canada, and occasionally beyond
A background in technical service, field engineering, or even the military is a strong plus
