What is the difference between a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and a Solid State Drive (SSD)?

Computers older than 5 years are manufactured with the operating system pre-installed on an HDD. They have greater storage capacity than SSDs but are beat when it comes to speed. SSDs are considerably faster than HDDs and when one is installed it leads to faster boot times, program startups, and overall improved responsiveness of the machine. We recommend having an SSD to host your operating system and any other programs you use, while having an HDD as extended storage capacity for documents or photos if needed.

We are thinking of holding hour long classes to touch on various aspects of technology and general computing in todays world.

What are some things you think our community can learn about, that we can structure in to a class for you all to attend? The classes would be held at my store in Green Valley.

Blaine is committed to helping the community and we think there is plenty of benefit to doing something like this for you. We know there is not much else in the area, so maybe we can fill in the blank.

I am a private computer technician who serves the Southern Arizona area. These areas include Tucson, Vail, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Amado, Tubac, Rio Rico and Nogales.

Busboom's computer works was built primarily on word of mouth due to excellent and reliable service. My grandfather, Joe Busboom was computer coordinator at Pima Community College and after PIma, he created Busboom's Computer Works with my father Harold Busboom. Harold eventually went to run the Tubac Market and Joe has continued to serve the Southern Arizona area for over 20 years

In 2014 i took a couple summers to train with my grandfather and eventually he was confident enough in me to visit and solve his customers problems on my own. I have studied for the Cisco A+ computer repair certification and have close to 5 years of experience under my belt. I specialize in computer repair and consulting but i can tackle most technology related problems including home networks, sound systems, television, cable cutting, local TV, etc.
