Dear Friends and Valued Customers,

As many of you know, The Trinidad Tech Shop has always been more than just a business to us; it's been a community hub where problems are solved, stories are shared, and technology is given a second life. Today, I have some important news to share about the next chapter in our journey.

Due to unforeseen challenges, including significant damage to our premises and constraints that have affected our availability, we've made the difficult decision to close our physical store. This wasn't an easy decision; especially given the incredible support and loyalty you've all shown us over the years.
Unfortunately, complications with insurance and the state of the building have made it impossible for us to continue operating from our current location.

But, as one door closes, another opens. We’re thrilled to announce our transition to a mobile repair service! This means we'll bring our trusted, quality repair services directly to you, starting later this year.

We're currently in the process of completing the last repair tickets and reaching out to everyone affected. Your understanding and patience during this time mean the world to us.

Stay tuned for updates on our mobile launch. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your understanding, support, and trust. We look forward to serving you in new ways and to the many more stories we'll share on the road ahead.

Friends and clients of the Trinidad Tech Shop, as many of you know, we were scheduled to reopen today after being closed for over a month. We have been eagerly anticipating welcoming you back and getting back to doing what we love most - solving your tech troubles. However, fate has thrown a few curveballs that we must address before we can safely and effectively serve you again.
Firstly, we have encountered challenges in hiring the skilled team we need to ensure quality service.
Secondly, and more disruptively, we've suffered significant water damage due to a ceiling cave-in.
Lastly, our manager Ryan has been postponing essential medical procedures due to our operational demands.

Should you have any questions or need emergency assistance with your devices, please do not hesitate to drop us a voicemail or FB message, and we will get back to you when we can.

There will be no interruption of service for retainer customers or federal jobs that are already scheduled.

Thank you for your continued support, we look forward to opening our doors and welcoming you back to the Trinidad Tech Shop as soon as possible. We will keep you updated on our progress and provide a new reopening date as soon as we have a clearer timeline.

Happy New Year!

As we step into 2024, we at Trinidad Tech Shop are filled with gratitude and excitement. It's been a journey since our doors opened in 2017, and every day has been a learning experience in the vibrant heart of Trinidad.

We've grown to love this town deeply, cherishing every repair we've had the pleasure to undertake. It's the people here that make our work so rewarding, and we're eagerly looking forward to another year of serving you all.

To ensure we continue to provide you with the best service, we've decided to take a short hiatus. Our shop will be closed throughout January, reopening on February 16th. This break will allow us to complete all pending repairs, catch up on some essential administrative work, and most importantly, rejuvenate our space and spirits for another bustling year.

We're also taking this moment to reflect on the past year. We understand there were challenges caused by my taking on full time employment, and other reasons, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Your patience and support mean the world to us. Rest assured, we're doubling down on our efforts to ensure smoother operations in the coming year.

To our friends in northern New Mexico and southern Colorado - your support has been incredible. You've welcomed us, trusted us, and stood by us, making our journey a truly fulfilling one.

Here's to a fantastic 2024, filled with growth, community, and of course, expert tech repairs!

Good morning Trinidad!
We are having problems with most shipments using FedEx. Many packages say delivered after many delays but never made it to us. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences and negative effect on your experience with the Tech Shop because of these developments outside of our control.
We have started using alternative shipping methods whenever available. We can provide tracking information for all orders. We will be providing full refunds to anyone affected upon request.
Please contact us with any questions, and watch for updates to FedEx services in the area.

Starting 8/7 (Monday) we will be switching to new hours.
Thursday:4pm-7pm
Friday: 4pm-7pm
Saturday: 10a-4pm
Sunday : Closed
Mon-Wed reserved for housecalls so we don't close during open hours anymore.

We will be unveiling easy ways to make appointments in the next week.

Retainer clients will continue to receive 24/hr assistance.
Business clients can still request a technician anytime.

Exciting News Alert! 📢

Starting August 1st, the Trinidad Tech Shop will be adopting new operating hours, which will be unveiled next week.

We're thrilled to see our fellow Frontier Geeks spread their wings! Be sure to keep an eye on their journey. They have their bags packed! Your favorite friendly local game store is relocating to a new address - 132 E Main Street, directly opposite Mutiny Trinidad. To stay in the loop about their opening dates, grand opening events, and much more, make sure to follow (and like) Frontier Geeks.
