Tip of the Day (for anyone planning a move):

Before you pack—or while you’re packing—wipe things down. Seriously. Shelves, bins, décor, lamps… all of it. Dust and dirt love to hitch a ride, and there’s no reason to unpack yesterday’s dust bunnies into your fresh new space.

Clorox wipes or even a damp paper towel do the trick. Simple. Effective. Weirdly satisfying.

One thing I have every client do before a move or a major organizing project is a purge.
And no—before anyone panics—I do not mean killing people 😄
I mean letting go of the stuff you don’t use, don’t need, and haven’t touched in a year (or five) that’s just been sitting around collecting dust.

So please stop imagining your neighbor and focus on killing dust and dirt instead.
