Big news on my end, we're moving into a new place soon. It's been a whirlwind getting everything packed and sorted, but it's got me thinking about how far Plato Media Management has actually come, and where it's headed next.
I started Plato back in January with nothing but a laptop, a phone, and the idea that small businesses around Henderson County deserved good marketing without paying big-city agency prices. No office, no team, just me figuring it out one client at a time.
Eight months later, that idea's turned into something real. We've helped local businesses go from invisible online to actually showing up, actually getting seen, actually getting calls. Nearly 150,000 views and real growth for the people who took a chance on us early. Nothing fancy, just consistent, honest work.
Where we're headed is bigger. Right now it's Gun Barrel City and the towns around Cedar Creek Lake. Eventually I want Plato to be the name people think of anywhere in this part of Texas when they need someone to make their business actually look like the real, good thing it is, not another cookie-cutter page nobody remembers.
That's still the mission, plain and simple. Affordable doesn't mean cheap, and every small business owner grinding it out deserves marketing that actually looks like effort was put into it, not an AI flyer slapped together five minutes before an event.
With this much changing all at once, the move, the next chapter, it felt like the right time to also update how I price things for new clients going forward. If you've been sitting on getting your business set up online, current pricing holds for anyone who gets started before September 18th. If you're already working with me, nothing changes on your end, this is just for anyone who's been meaning to get started and hasn't yet.
What's the worst thing you've ever had to pack up and move? Asking for a friend currently wrapping plates in every towel he owns.
