Help them help the environment!

There are three easy steps to ensure your recycling doesn't interfere with the material recycling process.

1️⃣ Know what to throw. Only put acceptable materials in your recycling cart. Link to guide in the comments. 🛜

2️⃣ Empty. Clean. Dry. Items are emptied, rinsed and patted dry. Dirty items will interfere with the recycling process.

3️⃣ Don't bag it. Items should be placed loose in the cart. No need to bag them.

Why is recycling electronics so important?
In 2022, the world generated 62 million metric tons of electronic waste, according to the United Nations Global E-waste Monitor.

And to make matters worse, global electronic waste has reached record highs and is growing FIVE TIMES FASTER than rates of recycling.

- Up to 10 tires on or off the rim ($0.50 each)
- Paint
- Paper
- Cardboard
- Sticks, branches, leaves, and grass clippings
- Electronics
- Non-food styrofoam
- Scrap Metal
- Bulky items: air conditioner, refrigerator, large appliances
✅ There will be household hazardous waste collected at this event.
