The Sophos State of Ransomware in Manufacturing and Production 2022 report is HERE and it reveals an increasingly challenging threat environment, with the sector reporting an above-average increase in the perceived volume and complexity of attacks.

The manufacturing and production sector is the least likely to be hit by ransomware. The sector also reported the lowest level of backup use to restore encrypted data across all the sectors.
