A lot of people don't realize how expensive CNC router bits and tooling can be, especially for router bits used to cut birch plywood. The resin/glue in birch plywood is actually stronger than most router bits, so we use router bits with a special grade of carbide. Pictured here is a hydraulic tool holder that uses an even clamping force compared to tool holders with collets.

Sometimes when we are engraving logos and the vacuum suction is low we just put other panels on the router bed to increase suction.
