Service Update 11/26/2025: Temporary Performance Issues Due to External Cyber Attack
Dear Valued Customers,
We are currently experiencing higher-than-normal internet traffic directed at our network infrastructure, which appears to be the result of a Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack from external sources.
Our network security teams are actively mitigating the attack in collaboration with upstream providers and specialized DDoS protection services. Customers might experience intermittent slowdowns, higher latency, or brief outages while mitigation is in place. We are working diligently to keep your services working while this attack is happening.
No customer data has been compromised.

We will NEVER ask you for your email password via email. If you receive an email asking for your password, DO NOT respond or click any links.

It is a phishing scam. Delete it immediately!

Attention Sjoberg’s customers:



Sjoberg’s has been under a massive cyber-attack since Christmas Eve. It is disrupting Internet access, streaming, telephone, and television services. We have been working with our connectivity provider to fix the issue. This is a widespread problem affecting more than just our area. You may have heard about this attack on the news. There are currently several government agencies involved in finding the source and perpetrators of this criminal activity. We are hopeful that our connectivity provider can mitigate the problem so things can go back to normal as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

We have been getting reports from subscribers regarding emails they have received about the need to update their email security settings. Another popular scam message might claim your email password is about to expire. Please know that we will never send an email regarding issues like that. These are phishing emails and are not from our service. Clicking a link in a phishing email may start a download of a virus, or it may send you to a page where you are asked to provide sensitive information that can be used to steal your identity or your money.

We will never ask you for sensitive information via email, nor will any reputable business. If you receive an email asking you to provide your password, credit card or bank account information, social security number, or other personal information, delete the message. If it is a company you do business with, and there is any question as to the legitimacy of the message, call the company that is supposedly requesting the information using a phone number from a recent bill, not from the email message you received requesting the personal information. Be aware that some phishing messages can look very convincing.
