We paired clean, modern typography with a custom abstract mark inspired by the lotus flower—symbolizing resilience, fertility, and continuous growth. One of my long-time clients had past designs embracing high-energy elements like mountain biking and martial arts, and now their practice has officially evolved into a deeper focus on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), holistic healing, and mindfulness.

They wanted this new logo to embody tranquility, balance, and community through key design elements:

• The Peach Blossom Tree & Roots: Symbolizing growth, vitality, and deep grounding. The sprawling roots represent being firmly rooted in health, while the vibrant blossoms celebrate life and renewal.

• The Three Treasures (精 气 神): Woven directly into the trunk are the characters for Jīng (Essence), Qì (Vital Energy), and Shén (Spirit)—the core pillars of Chinese Medicine that guide holistic wellness.

• Yin & Yang Background: A soft blue Yin-Yang anchors the mark, representing harmony, flow, and optimal balance in the body and mind.

• Inclusion & Mindfulness: Surrounding the base, colorful figures in various peaceful, breathing poses highlight mindfulness, calm, and inclusivity—welcoming everyone onto their path to wellness.

I recently had the honor of redesigning a new brand identity for Ripples of Access. They wanted to capture their mission of helping people with disabilities find the accessibility options they need to thrive.

The design is anchored by a lighthouse, which symbolizes a clear direction toward good accessibility. Within the lighthouse, the integrated accessibility icon representing the diverse needs the company serves—including captions, vision, hearing, interaction, and cognitive needs.

The rippling water at the base illustrates how small changes can create a wider, lasting impact over time. Set against the soft watercolor strokes of a new dawn, the entire mark represents hope, guidance, and progress.

I’ve spent the last few weeks redesigning the website for AUsome Moms, an incredible local nonprofit that supports mothers of children on the autism spectrum across DFW. The goal was to create a space that is as welcoming, organized, and supportive as the moms themselves.

From resources and event calendars to their podcast and donation portal, everything is now streamlined to make life a little easier for the families who need it most.

We focused on a "clean and user-friendly" architecture to ensure that whether a mom is looking for a support group or a foundation is reviewing a grant application, the experience is seamless.
