Quick audit — can an AI actually read and cite your SaaS site? Score yourself 1 point each:

1. Plain claims: Are your key facts written as clear sentences a model can extract (not buried in vague marketing fluff)?
2. Semantic HTML: Real heading hierarchy, one H1, structured sections?
3. Comparison + use-case pages: The exact content AI pulls when building a shortlist?
4. Schema markup: Product, FAQ, and Organization schema in place?
5. Fast, lightweight build: No plugin bloat hiding your meaning behind scripts?

5/5 — you're citable. Under 3 — you're likely invisible in AI answers, no matter how you rank on Google. Save this and audit your homepage today.

This is one of the clearest ways to visualize local SEO performance — and I want to walk through what it actually shows.

The grid tracks Angel Smile Dental Group's Google Maps ranking for "emergency dentist Chatsworth" across 25 geographic points in a 3-mile radius around their practice.

Each dot shows your position for the keyword "emergency dentist Chatsworth" at that exact geographic point.

🔴 Red = ranking 10 or higher — effectively invisible to most searchers
🟡 Yellow/Orange = ranking 4 to 9 — showing up but not leading
🟢 Green = ranking 2 or 3 — top of the local pack

September 2025 on the left — most of the map is orange and red. Rankings ranging from 7 all the way to 20+ depending on where the searcher is located.

August 2026 on the right — almost the entire coverage area is green. Rankings sitting between 2 and 3 across the board.

Same business. Same city. Same keyword. 10 months apart.

Here's what actually moved the needle 👇

✅ Google Business Profile fully optimized — categories, services, business description, photos updated consistently
✅ Review velocity — getting new reviews regularly, responding to every single one
✅ Local content — blog posts and service pages targeting the right geographic keywords
✅ On-page SEO — website structure aligned with the GBP signals
✅ Consistency — showing up every week, not just at launch

Local SEO doesn't spike overnight. But it compounds in a way that paid ads simply can't replicate once it's working.

Have you ever checked your local ranking grid across your service area? What did it look like? 👇

A SaaS website has one job: turn attention into pipeline. Most don't — they look nice and convert poorly.

ProGeekTech builds Webflow and SaaS sites engineered for three things at once:
• Rank — clean technical SEO foundations
• Get cited — semantic structure built for AI/answer engines
• Convert — buyer-first messaging, clear offers, frictionless CTAs

Fast loads, no plugin bloat, and a layout designed around how your buyer actually decides. The result is a site that earns demos while you sleep — not a digital brochure.

The single highest-ROI fix in most businesses isn't a new ad or a new website. It's responding faster.

A 5-minute reply can convert up to 9x better than a 30-minute one — and lead quality drops sharply after the first five minutes. Yet most businesses take 12+ hours to respond to an inbound inquiry. That's not a lead-generation problem. It's a math problem hiding in plain sight.

Our blog breaks down how to engineer speed-to-lead with automation — instant text-back, routing, and follow-up sequences that work while you don't.

I've been building something quietly for the past few months, and I'm finally ready to show it.

Here's the problem I kept seeing across every client I work with. 👇

→ A potential customer calls at 6 PM on a Friday.
→ The owner is with their family.
→The phone rings out. Voicemail picks up.

That caller hangs up without leaving a message.
Opens Google. Calls the next business on the list.

That's not a maybe. The data is clear:
📵 80% of callers who hit voicemail never call back
📵 37% of calls to small local businesses go completely unanswered
📵 Business owners who don't speak fluent English feel limited on every call
📵 Busy owners physically can't always pick up

Every one of those unanswered calls is a missed client. Multiplied by 52 weekends a year.

So I built a solution. Introducing our AI Front Desk Receptionist 🤖

She answers your missed calls. Talk to the caller like a real front-desk person, not a menu or a voicemail. She books them straight onto my calendar. And she can transfer the call directly to me when you're available, or you can ask her to transfer you to me.

Not a phone tree. Not a voicemail system. A real conversation that ends with a booked appointment.

I'm inviting you to test it right now—call the number on the page and experience it yourself.

"SEO is a scam" is what people say when they quit at month two.

Here's the uncomfortable truth: SEO isn't slow. Your patience is just shorter than the algorithm's timeline. Meaningful ROI typically lands somewhere around month 6–12 — and then it compounds, sending traffic and leads for years at a near-zero marginal cost. That back half is the entire point.

The people loudly calling SEO a scam almost always stopped right before the curve turned up. They paid the cost and walked away before the payoff. Meanwhile their competitor who stayed the course now owns the rankings — permanently.

If you want instant, run ads. If you want an asset that appreciates, commit to SEO for a full year and judge it then. Just don't confuse "slow to start" with "doesn't work." Those are very different things — and the difference is worth a lot of money. Agree or disagree?

I'll say the quiet part out loud: SEO as accounting firms have practiced it is dead.

For years the goal was "rank #1 on Google." That game is fading. A growing share of your ideal clients now ask an AI assistant — ChatGPT, Gemini, Google's AI Overviews — and act on its answer without ever scrolling a results page. If the AI can't read, understand, and *cite* your firm, you are invisible to those clients. Your blue-link ranking is irrelevant to a buyer who never sees the links.

This isn't a reason to abandon SEO — it's a reason to evolve it. The firms pulling ahead in 2026 are optimizing to *be the answer*: structured service pages, consistent entity information, strong reviews, and content written to be quoted by a machine.

Most firms will dismiss this until it's already cost them. The early movers are quietly becoming the default recommendation in their market. Which one are you? I'd genuinely like to hear where you land on this.

Some of the most important work on a website is the part nobody sees.

Today we ran a full on-page and technical SEO pass on a couples therapy practice we partner with—and watched the site health score reach 100% and Google PageSpeed performance hit 96%.

Here's what actually moved the needle and why it matters:

→ Structured data on every page. This is the behind-the-scenes code that tells Google — and increasingly AI search — exactly what each page is about. It's how a site becomes eligible to show up as a rich result instead of a plain blue link.

→ Faster load times. We found a single 3.4 MB image quietly dragging the whole site down and optimized it (along with several others), cutting page weight by roughly 80%. Faster sites rank better — and more importantly, visitors don't leave before the page even loads.

→ Accessibility fixes. Descriptive labels on links, buttons, and images so the site works properly for screen readers. That's people-first design, and search engines reward it too.

→ Repaired internal links. We discovered navigation links that weren't actually connected to anything, leaving a couple of pages stranded where search engines couldn't reach them. Small fix, real impact on how a site gets found.

Why does this matter for the business? For a therapy practice, someone searching late at night for help after a hard day needs to find you — fast, on any device, without friction. Technical SEO is what quietly makes that possible.

None of this work is flashy. But it compounds. A healthier, faster, more findable website is one of the highest-ROI investments a service business can make. Onto the next one.

A CPA told me last year she didn't need marketing — she was fully booked and "too busy to even think about it." I understood completely. Capacity feels like safety.

Six months later she called back. Her two largest clients had moved on (one sold, one moved in-house), and suddenly a third of her revenue was gone with an empty pipeline behind it. Now she needed leads immediately — the worst possible time to start, because marketing has a runway and desperation is expensive.

Here's the lesson I keep relearning with firms: "too busy to market" is one of the most dangerous places to be, precisely because it feels the safest. A referral-fed firm can look full right up until the day it isn't.

The time to build your growth engine is when you don't need it yet — so it's already humming when the ground shifts. Marketing isn't what you do when you're slow. It's what keeps you from ever being slow.
