ISSAbove

ISSAbove ISSAbove is a gadget that brings Space Station AWESOME to any TV. Questions to [email protected] It's not just a passive device however.

ISSAbove was created by Liam Kennedy of www.LookUpTonight.com to help inspire everyone to be present to the amazing achievement of having an orbiting space station, built by 16 nations, and usually home to six or more people. Liam has a passion and commitment to inspire as many people as possible to be present to the promise of space and science to improve many aspects of everyone's lives. While m

any people are well aware of the space station, it is often a surprise to find out just how frequently the space station passes overhead. ISSAbove is designed to sit on a desk or a wall and act as a simple reminder of this. The device can also allow you to interact with the space station by sending a tweet directed at the and twitter account whenever it is overhead. As the ISSAbove device is something that anyone can build with relatively inexpensive components and they begin to be distributed around the world it is Liam's hope that more children will be inspired to get involved in a STEM education to become future space pioneers.

Would you like a side of Artemis with your breakfast and sports? Doing a bit of market research today. Everyone who walks by does a double take and then a conversation starts with “oh are those photos from the moon?” burgers and beer (although in this case just breakfast and coffee)

Another test public live stream from "my camera" (Sen's) on the International Space Station. This time we are showing the view of SpaceX Crew9 Dragon on our camera covering the forward docking port. Enjoy!

Join our 4K livestream test from the ISS as we test our cameras. This time, our view is from the docking camera, which shows Earth and SpaceX's Dragon Capsule.

Hi friends. Right now Sen is live streaming the view of the SpaceX Crew #9 Dragon in glorious 4K from our external camera system on the International Space Station. We are still in testing mode - so expect times when the feed will be unavailable.

Also.. the ISS enters orbital eclipse regularly - so the feed may be black and we do have expected times of LOS (Loss of Signal) when we don't have downlink from the station. Enjoy... and let me know what you think!

Join us as we test our livestream from our 4K cameras on the International Space Station. Today, we have another incredible view of Earth and SpaceX's Dragon...

We're planning a Slow Scan Television experiment next week. It's scheduled to start Tue. Oct. 8 and run through Mon. Oct. 14.

During the experiment, it will replace APRS on the Service Module ham radio, 145.800 MHz.

This was the first-ever 4 K public livestream from an external camera system on the ISS. It shows the docking event of the SpaceX Dragon Crew-9 Freedom via Sen's SpaceTV-1.

Unfortunately, the docking happened during orbital nighttime - so there was not much to see during the actual docking. This video is cued up to show the view AFTER docking - but you can scroll through the entire nine-hour broadcast to see the before/after.

Note: In 2017, NASA held a 4K live downlink event at the NAB show in Vegas, with astronauts being interviewed inside the ISS. All credit goes to NASA for that.

By comparison - this is a frame from the NASA live feed showing the recently docked SpaceX Dragon Crew-9 Freedom and from the other side where our Sen SpaceTV-1 4k External Camera is capturing the view. We'll be live streaming this view and the view from two other cameras live to the public soon. Check out Sen.com to see more and follow along with updates.
