PLEASE pass this message along. These types of pop-ups are 100% fake 100% of the time. DO NOT CALL, just press and hold the power button until it shuts off (about 10-15 seconds). If the message pops back up after the hard restart, BSM will do a safety check and run all updates for only $39.99. If you have been affected, WORST case scenario virus removal WITH a tune-up is only $119.99 at BSM. People have paid upwards of $1200 for the "fix" from these scammers out of fear.
If you call these numbers and allow remote access, at LEAST 2 things occur...
1) You pay them and they have your financial info
2) They turn your computer into a "bot" that works for them
There are other things they can do as part of the fraudulent "support".
