CMMC program elements remain operational; C3PAOs can continue conducting Level 2 mock and certification assessments, and prime contractors may still require certification from organizations in their supply chains.

Defense contractors should also continue reviewing applicable DFARS clauses, maintaining protections for Federal Contract Information and Controlled Unclassified Information, and preparing for future assessment requirements.
