SII Student Spotlight - Tracy Allen Brown, Founder of Aiden's Friends

With two young children, Tracy Brown desperately sought a solution for hectic weekday mornings. Unable to find a suitable solution on the market, she thought about ways to apply her behavioral therapy & learning design background to give her kids the attention they needed while taking care of herself as well.

Those hectic mornings led Tracy to developing an augmented reality experience that displayed happy characters, able to guide her son through his morning routine. The results were so positive, she wanted to help other families have that same experience so she took a chance and applied to the Student Innovation Incubator (SII) at USF CONNECT.

Since being admitted into the SII 2021-2022 cohort, Tracy has been named a finalist in the TiE Tampa Bay pitch competition held at Embarc Collective. She also participated in the USF Center for Entrepreneurship Business Model Competition and most recently, the Florida Blue Health where she was named a finalist.
