Today is our final day in business, and I would like to share some thoughts with everyone. When we (our family) purchased this franchise back in 2015, we never knew just how hard it would be. From the first few years of funneling our own money to keep this store afloat, to the pandemic of 2020. 2020 also came with a lot of heartbreak for us, as our owner and operator suffered a massive heart attack, that resulted in a triple bypass surgery. Still, we pushed on and made it our mission to finish our 10 contract to UPS. And today, marks 10 years and 10 months of service to the Southwood and Southside communities. We’ve been a part of your lives, and you a part of ours for a decade! Our son grew up in our store, as much of you have. Now it’s time to enter the next chapter in our lives, spending time with OUR family and friends. (Pics of us and our son when we first opened)So much of our time has been dedicated to others that it’s time to focus on us. Thank you so much for all the care and positive vibes y’all have sent our way over the past month, since our announcement to close our doors. We’ll see ya around!

First, I would like to say on behalf of our family, thank you for 10+ years of visiting our location. That being said, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce the closure of our location. Throughout the past decade, we have gotten to know and share so much of our life and experiences with the Southwood community. Whether it was a simple Amazon return or shipping out gifts for the holidays. As a family owned and operated branch, we know the importance of family and how precious time is with the ones we love. We really have come to love each and every one of you as if you were an extended part of OUR family! Just because we are closing, that doesn’t mean we aren’t going to be around in the community. If you run into us around town, please feel free to say hello, because we will truly miss y’all. Our final day of business will be on Friday, June 26th, 2026 and will be operating as normal until that date. Please come by and share in one more laugh until then.

Hey all, we are gonna be closed today. Our fearless leader is under the weather and needs a day to recover. We will be back tomorrow, regular hours.

Google won’t let us respond to this review, so here is the response:

1) Rhayna Jordan IS a manager at our store. Her and her husband OWN this franchise location.

2) Since UPS charges their franchise owners through the nose, this location only has 2 employees at any time.

3) Due to the influx of returns, Tis the season, we cannot have just 1 employee on staff alone. It’s too much for just one to handle, and since we also don’t make enough to pay more than one employee, the owners are there EVERY SINGLE DAY, OPEN-CLOSE. Sick or not.

4) Rhayna had taken a COVID test prior to coming to work, and wouldn’t have come in if it were positive. That’s just common sense.

5) The customer who made this review came in looking for a fight and left out the fact that she threatened physical violence to us. That’s the other reason she was asked to leave.

Finally, the poster of this review will be happy to know that the owner of the Mahan location is buying this franchise location, and is set to transition to full ownership in the coming months. There, that was the big announcement.

We’ve been at it for 10+ years and are tired of being robbed and yelled at by people who we try to help, more than any other location would by the plethora of things we’ve heard about other stores. Enjoy

With New Years Eve approaching, we want to thank everyone who visited our store in 2025 and over the past 10 years. We have an important announcement coming in 2026, so stayed tuned. Closing early New Year’s Eve and closed for New Year’s Day.
