Meet the leadership helping keep Syracuse Time & Alarm moving forward every day.

Sean Kunai joined Syracuse Time & Alarm Co. in 2006 after a career journey rooted in service, leadership, and operational excellence. Following his time in the U.S. Marine Corps and earning a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina, Sean built valuable experience in logistics and warehouse management before returning home to Syracuse and joining the STA team.

Over the past 19 years, Sean has grown alongside the company — beginning in the warehouse handling inventory, deliveries, shipping, and receiving before being promoted to Warehouse Manager. For more than 15 years, he helped refine the company’s inventory and purchasing systems, building the operational foundation that supports the business today.

In 2023, Sean stepped into his current role as Operations Manager, where he oversees many of the critical moving parts behind the company’s success — including fleet procurement, building maintenance, technician support, and day-to-day operations.

Known for his attention to detail and commitment to supporting the team, Sean plays a vital role in helping Syracuse Time & Alarm continue delivering exceptional service to customers across Central New York.

Outside of work, Sean is deeply involved in the local sports community as a high school football coach, wrestling official, and baseball umpire — reflecting the same dedication to teamwork and leadership that he brings to STA every day.

45 years ago, Syracuse Time and Alarm opened its doors with a simple mission: help keep our community safe.

For nearly half a century, we’ve been here protecting businesses, schools, and the places Syracuse depends on every day. Providing fire alarm systems, security solutions, access control, surveillance, monitoring, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone is always looking out for you.

Tim Martin brings more than 30 years of experience in the life safety and security industry to his role as Sales Manager at Syracuse Time & Alarm. His journey began in 1993 when he was introduced to an industry that would shape his entire career — one built on trust, protection, and long-term value.

Throughout the years, Tim has built a strong foundation through both technical and sales roles, giving him a well-rounded understanding of alarm, fire, and security solutions. That experience now helps him lead the STA sales team with insight, strategy, and a customer-first mindset.

With a respected background that includes ADT Security, Redhawk Fire & Security, and Eastern Security Services, Tim has earned a reputation throughout Central New York as a trusted resource in the life safety space.

In 2025, Tim joined Syracuse Time & Alarm as Sales Manager, where he now leads the company’s sales efforts with a focus on growth, customer relationships, and helping protect the communities we serve.

Meet the leadership powering the operations behind Syracuse Time & Alarm.

William Dibble has been a key part of Syracuse Time & Alarm for more than four decades. After graduating from Baldwinsville Central Schools in 1982, he joined the company later that year as a technician, quickly establishing himself as a trusted expert in the field. By 1987, he had advanced to Service Manager, helping guide the company’s growing service operations.

In 1996, William earned his NICET Level III certification in Fire Alarm Systems, further strengthening the company’s technical leadership.

By 1999, he became Director of Corporate, where he helped define many of the company’s internal processes and played a major role in developing proprietary software systems that continue to support operations today.

Now serving as President, William oversees daily operations while continuing to innovate and improve the systems that keep Syracuse Time & Alarm running efficiently.
