This evening, around 8:30pm 1/6/25. Those receiving service off of Caney Fork and Skinner Tower in Cullowhee are currently out due to a vital piece of equipment needing to be replaced. Outage is to be resolved tomorrow morning due to possibly having to climb tower. We are sorry and assure you that we will get the service restored in the A.M.

Duke Power has issued another update for power affecting Kings Mountain Tower which also affects Jackson County Airport, and some in the Whittier Area... The new restoration time is 11:59pm.

Power is out to Kings Mtn. Tower. This will also affect those coming off of the Jackson County Airport. A tree fell across the power line on the main road blocking our techs from temporarily restoring power via generator. Duke Power has been notified and their estimated restoration time is today, 5:45pm.

Allens Branch Tower outage has been resolved....

Those recieving service from Allen's Branch Tower, your service will resume within the next 30 minutes. The tower was running on battery back up from a power flicker late yesterday evening and has reached it's ability to keep going. Our tech is on the way now to resolve the issue.

We wanted to inform you that both Cowee Tower and Hytop Tower are currently experiencing a service disruption due to a major fiberoptic issue caused by recent storm damage in the Asheville area. Fiberoptic technicians are aware of the situation and are working diligently to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience during this time. We expect service to resume relatively soon. Should an estimated time of restoration (ETR) be published before service is restored, we will notify you immediately.
