Beautiful weather, great food, and a Brewers win over the Cardinals - it doesn’t get much better than that.

Our team had a great time at American Family Field. Outings like this are a great reminder of the people behind the work we do and the importance of making time to connect as a team.

Thanks to everyone who joined us, and go Brewers!

WOW! What an incredible space for the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Memorial Hermann’s HEAL High School recently opened a 6,500-square-foot simulated hospital where students can gain hands-on experience in realistic healthcare spaces, including med-surg rooms, ICU rooms, a nurse’s station, imaging room, and mock pharmacy.

IVS is proud to be installed throughout the space, helping support video observation, recording, and review as students build confidence in real-world clinical environments.

Environments like this give the next generation of healthcare professionals the opportunity to practice, reflect, and grow before stepping into patient care.

Watch the video to see them celebrate this major milestone and get a closer look at the beautiful new space.

Video isn’t just a “nice to have” in counselor education. It can be the backbone of stronger supervision, skill development, and outcomes-based research.

In this episode of On Record, Dr. Carlos Zalaquett shares how secure video recording helps students and supervisors move beyond memory-based reflection and revisit real moments with clarity.

He also discusses how video, paired with client self-report data, can support more evidence-based supervision, strengthen clinical training, and help programs better demonstrate their impact.

Plus, Dr. Zalaquett looks ahead to the role of AI-enabled transcription, analysis, and research in the future of counselor education.

One of his most memorable takeaways: “lift as you climb.”

Proud to support hands-on learning in healthcare simulation.

IVS was honored to sponsor NAIT’s Mass Casualty Incident Simulation, an interprofessional exercise that recreated a building collapse and transformed the Centre for Advanced Medical Simulation into a functioning hospital environment.
Nearly 200 participants, including 115+ post-secondary health students from across Alberta, came together to practice emergency response in a realistic, high-pressure scenario.

These types of simulations are a powerful reminder of why immersive training matters. They help students build the teamwork, communication, decision-making, and clinical confidence needed before stepping into real-world care environments.

Thank you to NAIT and everyone involved in bringing this impactful event to life. We’re proud to support simulation experiences that prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.

If your video system went down today, would you get a solution… or get passed around?

That question matters more than most teams realize.

Because when you’re managing simulation, assessments, recording, or review workflows, support isn’t a “nice to have.”

It affects your faculty. Your learners. Your schedule. Your sanity.

At Intelligent Video Solutions, 96% of support issues are resolved on the first call.

And the reason is simple: our support model is built differently.

We use a swarm methodology, which means one person stays with you until the issue is resolved.

No ticket ping-pong.
No repeating yourself over and over.
No getting handed off between departments.

Just real support from a team that stays with you until it’s done.

A lot of companies talk about features.

But what happens after implementation matters too.

Because the right partner doesn’t just sell you software.
They help you succeed with it.

If you’re evaluating platforms, make sure you’re comparing the support model too.

Now Available, On Record Episode 11, recorded live at IMSH 2026.

Listen now! https://hubs.la/Q04bCySH0

This episode of On Record features Ruben Torres, Simulation Manager at South Texas College, sharing how a deep background in AV and networking naturally evolved into leading simulation operations across nursing and paramedic training.

Ruben walks through why video recording is essential to simulation—not as “gotcha” surveillance, but as a tool for reflective learning and stronger debriefs, where students can review decisions, identify improvements, and build confidence before stepping into real clinical environments.
