Outlaw Wireless Customers,
It has been brought to our attention that some of our users are experiencing difficulties streaming media content through Amazon based streaming services.
We have not made any changes on our network which could account for the errors being encountered by our users so, we reached out to Amazon Support to address this matter with them and registered a complaint with their support team.
We further contacted our Tier I Fiber provider to explore possible explanations for these errors with them and they indicated the last time they observed this type of behavior through Amazon was a short time back when the Amazon AWS servers experienced multiple failure points. We have opened a support ticket with our Tier I provider as well.
Rest assured; we are aware of the problem which appears to specifically affect Amazon based streaming services. We are not seeing this issue with other streaming platforms like Hulu, YouTube, DisneyPlus, Netflix, Sling, etc... If the problem was central to our network, we suspect these other services would not work either, but they are all working fine.
We will continue to work with their support department leveraging our relationship with our Tier I provider until this matter is resolved.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we wait to hear back from the Amazon Team.
We will post updates to our affected customers as we receive them.
