Dr. Hongwei Qi, our founder, firmly believed that large scale of high-quality training data can empower the application of artificial intelligence through the improvement of the accuracy of AI models and smart life will become reachable and reliable. Prior to founding Datatang, Dr. Qi was a Visiting Scholar in Stanford University and got postdoctoral in the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was a director of the research center for intelligent information processing in the NEC Labs China and was selected to be a leader of Beijing High Level Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talents Support Program. Dr. Hongwei Qi led Datatang to land on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ).
