Yesterday’s Test Chip Party was a huge success! 🍾

We are the first to put Maxwell’s equations directly in silicon! Darwesh ran an electromagnetic simulation demo on our test chip to kick off the night and the positive response from everyone made it even more special. From the conversations to the celebrations, it was great to see everyone having a good time and sharing in the excitement.

Thank you to all of our investors, partners, and guests who joined us and made it such a memorable evening. We’re proud of this huge milestone and are excited for what’s ahead! 🙂

A creative Blender effect, inspired by community collaboration. 🤝
 
Our Head of 3D, Matt Curtis, walks through how he created a retro 2.5D effect in Blender during his presentation at BCON 2026 in Amsterdam.
 
What started as a question on an online forum became a creative challenge: building an effect that works from any angle and interacts with you 3D scene. Matt shares his approach, the challenges along the way, and how asking questions and sharing solutions can help the whole Blender community learn and create.

Calvin Romeyn shared how Blender was used for the VFX of "Backrooms" and how the director would remote into the artist’s computer to adjust cameras.
