This iPhone came in completely dead. No charge, no response, nothing.
Most shops would’ve called it a paperweight. We didn’t.
Using thermal imaging, we located a shorted capacitor on the motherboard — it was sending all the power straight to ground, so the phone couldn’t turn on or charge at all. One component. Microsoldered. Fixed.
That Apple logo coming back on? Best part of the job. 🍎
