Tempting… but apparently you still have to finish the job before you can launch yourself out of the shop.

SOMEBODY CROSSED THE LINE… AND NOW I’VE GOT TO DEAL WITH IT. 😂

Apparently, this paint job decided to leave a little something behind.

A nice, hard paint line right where the new wrap needs to go.

Unfortunately, vinyl isn’t very forgiving when it comes to what’s underneath it. Covering up a problem doesn’t necessarily make it disappear.

So today’s solution? A little sandpaper and some persuasion. 😂

Sometimes you’ve just gotta know where to draw the line… and when to erase it. 😎

MONDAY MORNING MENTAL GYMNASTICS. 😂🎨

A Jeep wrap, restaurant graphics, and a shirt job all in the mix this morning at Creative Disorder.

Three completely different projects, three different styles, and one brain trying to keep everything straight. 😂

One minute I’m thinking about how graphics flow across a vehicle, the next I’m working on restaurant branding, and then switching gears to apparel.

That’s one of the things I love about custom design. There’s always something different to work on, and no telling what might land on my desk next.

A little bit of everything to kick off the week! 😎

NOT ALL VINYL IS CREATED EQUAL. 😎✨

Sometimes the artwork is only half the equation.

One of the things I enjoy about custom printing is finding different ways to make a design stand out.

Standard vinyl has its place, but sometimes a project calls for something a little different.

Take this underwater scene, for example. By printing on pearlescent media, we’re able to add a subtle shimmer that plays with the light and gives the artwork a completely different appearance depending on how you look at it.

It’s not just about the colors or the image anymore. The material itself becomes part of the visual effect.

And trust me, a photograph doesn’t quite do this one justice!

Different materials. Different effects. A whole lot more creative possibilities. 🤘

That’s part of what makes custom graphics so much fun.

Design thoughts Thursday.

There are times when a customer has an idea, a color combination, or a direction they want to go that I personally wouldn’t choose.

And believe me, I have my opinions! 😂

But at the end of the day, my job isn’t to create something that makes ME happy.

It’s to take the customer’s vision, use my experience and creativity to help bring it to life, and create something THEY’RE excited about.

That doesn’t mean I won’t offer suggestions, explain what might work better, or steer things in a different direction when needed.

But there’s a difference between guiding a customer and trying to make their project fit my personal taste.

Sometimes the best thing a designer can do is put their own preferences aside and remember whose vision they’re bringing to life.

And yes… sometimes I still have to remind myself of that. 😎

MAKE IT YOURS. 😎

That’s really what custom graphics are all about.

Maybe you already have the whole idea pictured in your head. Maybe you’ve got a theme, a color, a name or just the beginning of an idea and need some help figuring out the rest.

Either way, that’s where I come in.

This Jeep started with a vision and became a completely custom look built around its owner — from the orange and black octopus artwork down the sides to the Chaos Monster Mojave graphics on the hood.

Your vehicle doesn’t have to look like everybody else’s.

A LITTLE CREATIVE TEAMWORK. 🤝🔥

This one was definitely not short on personality.

I teamed up with Paradox Printing and Sign Co. on the Crab Island Cuties mobile boutique, handling the design work while the crew at Paradox took care of bringing it to life.

Bright colors, big graphics and absolutely ZERO chance of blending into traffic. 😂

I really enjoy getting the opportunity to work with other shops behind the scenes. It lets me take on completely different styles and projects while doing what I enjoy most — creating.

Big thanks to Paradox Printing and Sign Co. for trusting Creative Disorder with the design side of this one. 🤝

I’d say Crab Island Cuties is officially ready to be noticed. 👀

Quiet on social, busy in the shop. 🔧

Not every productive day ends with a finished wrap or a fresh shirt to show off. Sometimes it’s placing customer orders, improving the workspace, and handling the little things so the next project runs smoother.

Today included finally getting the garage door opener installed! Building Creative Disorder means wearing a lot of hats—today’s apparently came with a ladder. 😂

The shop is coming together a little more each day. Appreciate everyone supporting me while I keep building this thing!

A little less chaos… still plenty of Disorder. 🤘

IT USUALLY STARTS WITH… “SO I HAVE THIS IDEA.” 👀

And honestly, those are some of my favorite conversations.
Sometimes it’s a full vehicle wrap. Sometimes it’s a logo, a shirt, a sign or something completely out of left field.
You bring me the idea — even if it’s still a little half-baked — and we figure out how to turn it into something real.
The weird ideas are usually the fun ones anyway. 😂
So heading into the weekend, I’m curious…
