The Airport Cyber Defense Firm has taken the time to develop a risk framework with security controls that are specific to the airport operations. Our security controls are compiled from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800 series and other documents that provide best practices for cyber security activities. We have taken the time to select categories
that address PCI-DSS, HIPPA, physical security, radio frequency emanations and a host of others as areas of concern to airport cyber activity. As a part of the national cyber resilience effort within the DHS C3 “Sector Strategy Roll Out” phase, we are proactively reaching out to airports to begin this process with the objective of safeguarding cyber environments and personnel from cyber attacks.
