The Spirit of Metro Award recognizes an employee who goes above and beyond to embody the values that make our team so special. It celebrates someone who makes a meaningful impact on their teammates, customers and organization through their dedication, leadership, positivity and willingness to help others.
That person is Heather.
Heather has been an extraordinary source of knowledge, support and stability through an incredible year of growth. Her teammates call her “the glue that holds everything together,” “a go-to superhero” and an “absolute lifesaver.” They praise her lightning-fast responses, incredible attention to detail and unwavering “we can do this” attitude.
But Heather’s impact goes far beyond simply solving problems. She takes the time to explain the why behind her answers, mentors new employees, and creates an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions and growing. She anticipates problems before they happen, drops what she’s doing to help others, and sees every challenge through to the end.
As one nominator put it, “Without her knowledge, we would be lost!” Another summed up her impact perfectly: “If we could clone her, I would take 5!”
