Farewell (and along with you) it’s been an eventful ride. All the hours we spent together in what became Twitter’s cesspool of nonsense was full of incredible highs, like Kashana Cauley’s tweet about welcoming people to the jungle, to depraved lows (DJT 2016-2021) and through it all Tweetbot was there. Allowing me to mute posts about Wordle results, alert me when people in Los Angeles posted about needing Mac help. It really was a great way to use Twitter. Now the default Twitter app is just a bag of hurt best avoided.

IOS 16 also adds the ability to both edit and unsend texts. Previous versions are still available to the recipient so it’s not totally rewriting history. Unsending a message leaves behind a message test you unsent a text - so there’s that too.

If you're not a fan of unsolicited n**es via AirDrop - here's how to prevent it from happening

On your iPhone - Launch the Settings app / General / AirDrop / and select Contacts Only - that way only people in your contact list can AirDrop files to you.

On your Mac open an AirDrop window, and at the bottom there's a setting Allow Me to Be Discovered and change that to Contacts Only.

In the event you subsequently need to receive a file from somebody not in your contact list, you an just re-enable Everyone temporarily.

One of the most common things our clients complain about these days is password management and security. To them my answer is always the same - 1Password is a fantastic solution to generating passwords, storing passwords and filling in passwords when needed. Best of all - you only need to remember (get this) one password. Simple.

It looks like your browser (or a browser extension) is blocking JavaScript. 1Password requires JavaScript to function, so you’ll need to allow JavaScript for at least this domain.
