Strongsville-based; Family-owned company is looking to recruit a low voltage data technician that is willing to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment.
CLEAN DRIVING RECORD – FLEXIBILITY FOR SOME EVENING AND NIGHT WORK – FULL-TIME
Qualifications / Skills:
• Assist with service, installation and troubleshooting of low voltage systems
• Work in commercial, industrial and healthcare environments
• Label and pull cable
• Installation of cable support pathway
• Reading blueprints
• Cable testing and termination
• Assist building racks and mounting of rack equipment
• Communicate with other technicians and project managers about project progress
• Always represent the company in a professional manner
• Enter all time entries with detailed notes into our required app’s
• The ability to work on a scissors lift and able to work on your own but also lead in a team environment.
• Having any IP Networking is a plus.
• A typical workday starts at 8:00 AM and goes to 5:00 PM however the workday goes until the job is done. You will be required to work occasional evenings or nights. There is also a weekend rotation schedule for each technician. Overtime is also dispersed often!
• Travel will be required for each job, meaning daily. Occasional out of town jobs as well.
We are looking for a technician who possesses:
· High school diploma or GED
· Clean driving record (0 suspensions within 2 years)
· Able to pass background check and drug screen
· 2+ years industry experience
· Ability to multi-task and stay calm under stress
· Ability to provide own hand tools
· Working knowledge of hand and power tools
· Ability to occasionally travel throughout the state of Ohio with hotel and per diem costs covered by the company.
· Detail oriented is a MUST!
