Most AI agents fail when a task takes more than two steps. They pick the wrong tools, claim a job is finished without checking, loop forever on timed-out websites, or ping you for help every thirty seconds.
We built SMI to solve that.
SMI stands for the Steffi Machine Interface. It is Steffi's own decision model, built from scratch for one job: deciding what happens next before every single step.
The language model reads and writes. SMI is the brain that guides it.
You give one spoken sentence from your car on Monday morning: reschedule Thursday's patients, explain why, and get the supplier invoice sorted before Friday. Then you live your week while Steffi works through the steps.
What SMI decides before every step:
• The right tools: Out of hundreds of actions Steffi can take, SMI hands over only the few this step needs.
• Verifying results: It checks system receipts, not the model's claims. If a patient missed the notification, it catches the failure and sends it again.
• Breaking loops: If a supplier portal keeps timing out, it stops knocking and finds an alternate route.
• Memory that works: It recalls specific patient preferences, books the right slots, and updates records without cluttering the context window.
• Bringing you in only when needed: Routine steps run quietly in the background. If an invoice exceeds your usual limit, it asks for one quick tap, then carries on.
Because SMI handles the decision logic, you do not need a massive model hosted in someone else's cloud. Steffi guides a small model on your own hardware, keeping your business data private and your costs flat.
You just say it once.
Steffi is coming soon. Follow along for the launch.
